Calm-A-Sutra Winner

Marianne

teawinner_r1_c5.gifThe winner of the Calm-A-Sutra tea advertisement competition was announced this morning on The Morning Show on CBS network television. Tara Taylor, the winning contributor, appeared with Joseph Simrany, President of the U.S. Tea Association and Justin Guarino of American Idol fame, to receive her scholarship check for $20,000. She will use it to continue her studies at American University in Washington, D.C. this fall. To view her clever and engaging entry, along with other entries, visit www.teausa/calmasutra.com

Please note I will be away from Maine beginning this Friday June 8th until Friday June 15th to attend the Tea Expo where I will find out what’s new in the world of tea and related subjects, network with others in the specialty tea industry, and to further my knowledge and training about tea. At the end of the week I will begin Level 3 of the Specialty Tea Institute’s program, focusing on black teas during this session.

While I’m away, the shop will be in the capable hands of Patricia of Cellar Door Designs, and Shirley Sotir of Gallery 265 who will be glad to assist you with your questions or pass your requests on to me. You can also e-mail me at any time, as I will check my e-mail from time to time while away.

Upon my return, I will be excited to bring you up to date on what I’ve learned and the new products I order while there.

I can’t wait to share with you what I learn!

Best Regards,

Marianne
